The Tampa State Bank
The Tampa State Bank

Dear Tampa State Bank customers,

Here at Tampa State Bank, our concerns during this Covid pandemic have always been the safety and health of our staff and customers. We have decided that for the time being we will continue to operate through those means that have kept our customers and employees safe (drive thru, ATM, online banking).  We look forward to the time when we can open our lobby again. Look for us to announce this when the time is right and we can be sure it is 100% safe.  Thank you for your support.

***  Update***

We are very sorry to inform you all that the annual TSB Hog Roast is cancelled.  We are looking for alternatives for some sort of customer appreciation event in the future.  Thank you for being a valued customer of the Tampa State Bank.

Fraudsters are increasing phishing attacks in an effort to exploit the current COVID-19 pandemic. We have learned that fraudster emails and voice mails sent directly to
cardholders asking for personally identifiable information (PII) and impersonating the Bank, health groups, and federal government agencies.

There is a lot that you can do to protect your own financial accounts and information in order to avoid compromising your own information.  Here is some information on protecting your informatiom in regard to our Debit and Credit cards.

We will ever ask you over the phone for their PIN, CV2 codes, or Expiration Dates.

  • We do not use text alerts so if you receive one it is fraudulant.
  • A phone call from one of our Call Center agents will only include a request for the cardholder Zip code and no other personal information, unless the cardholder confirms that a transaction is fraudulent.

  • Only then will the cardholder be transferred to an agent, who will ask questions to confirm the cardholder’s identity before going through the transaction history. If, at any point the cardholder is uncertain about questions being asked or the call itself, they should hang up and call us directly.

  • If a call is received by the cardholder, claiming to be your Call Center and asking to verify transactions, no information should have to be provided by the cardholder other than their Zip code, and a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to the transactions provided.
